Safety tangs or hook tongues are recommended on punches of this size to prevent dropping out when ram plates are loosened.
The special gooseneck punches shown may be used to form boxes and channels with long return legs. Die F39 can be fastened directly to press bed.
When forming a four-sided box, the punch must be tall enough to prevent the preformed sides from striking the ram.
